The 2018–19 Copa Argentina (formally the Copa Whole Argentina 2018–19 for sponsorship causes)[2] was the tenth version of the Copa Argentina, and the eighth because the relaunch of the match in 2011. The competitors started on 16 January 2019 and ended on 13 December 2019.

River Plate defeated Central Córdoba (SdE) within the closing to win their third title.[3] As champions, they certified for the 2020 Copa Libertadores group stage and the 2019 Supercopa Argentina.[4][5]

Rosario Central, the defending champions, had been eradicated by Sol de Mayo within the Spherical of 64.

Eighty-seven (87) groups took half on this competitors: All twenty-six (26) groups from the Primera División; twelve (12) groups of the Primera B Nacional; six (6) from the Primera B, 4 (4) from the Primera C; three (3) from the Primera D and all thirty-six (36) groups from Federal A.[6][7][8]

Spherical I[edit]

Within the Spherical I, 20 groups from Torneo Federal A participated. The spherical was performed between 16 and 20 January, on a home-and-away two-legged tie. The 10 successful groups superior to the Spherical II.[9]

Within the Spherical II, 10 certified groups from the Spherical I and the remaining 16 groups from Torneo Federal A participated. The spherical was performed between 20 and 28 January, on a home-and-away two-legged tie with greatest crew within the Torneo Federal A internet hosting the second leg. The 13 successful groups superior to the Ultimate Spherical.

Ultimate Rounds[edit]

Draw[edit]

The draw for the Ultimate Rounds was held on 31 January 2019, 12:30 at AFA Futsal Stadium in Ezeiza. The 64 certified groups had been divided in 4 teams. Groups had been seeded by their historic efficiency and Division. Champions of AFA tournaments taking part in in Argentine Primera División had been allotted to Group A. The matches had been drawn from the respective confronts: A vs. C; B vs. D. Some mixtures had been prevented for safety causes.[10]

Spherical of 64[edit]

The Spherical of 64 had 13 certified groups from the Regional Spherical (13 groups from Torneo Federal A), 13 certified groups from the Metropolitan Zone (6 groups from Primera B Metropolitana; Four groups from Primera C and three groups from Primera D), 12 groups from Primera B Nacional and 26 groups from Primera División. The spherical was performed between 26 February and 21 July, in a single knock-out match format. The 32 successful groups superior to the Spherical of 32.

This spherical had 32 certified groups from the Spherical of 64. The spherical was performed between 14 July and 19 September, in a single knock-out match format. The 16 successful groups superior to the Spherical of 16.

Spherical of 16[edit]

This spherical had the 16 certified groups from the Spherical of 32. The spherical was performed between 7 September and 10 October, in a single knock-out match format. The eight successful groups superior to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[edit]

This spherical had the eight certified groups from the Spherical of 16. The spherical was performed between 11 and 25 October, in a single knock-out match format. The Four successful groups superior to the Semifinals.

This spherical had the Four certified groups from the Quarterfinals. The spherical was performed on 14 November 2019, in a single knock-out match format. The two successful groups superior to the Ultimate.
